you have to know what high concentration means?

if we want 50% CO2 it is hopeless with composting ... but it is pointless to enrich a greenhouse with C02

if you just want to increase the CO2 concentration of the atmosphere a little, passing air from the greenhouse to a composter is a possible solution

the normal composition of the air is 0,04% of CO2, so there is still enough oxygen to keep the compost alive, even if the CO2 level is allowed to rise to 10 times more than the atmosphere
