Christmas, snow and ice: deadly Eve?

by Christophe » 24/12/10, 11:15

Everything is in the title: the exceceable weather conditions may disturb a lot of family Eve (ours for example).

So be careful if you hit the road or stay warm at home ...

There will be some new ones ... not if you're dead ... : Idea:

We seem to have left for a cold winter, hopefully it will not be like in 1954 and 1956, with more than 15 days below -15 ° C worthy of Russia in Moscow in February, the cold anticyclone announces us !!

But with much more (10 100 times more) of cars, trucks, planes, we are much less resistant !!

For no accidents, do not follow too closely the one in front of you, nor strong braking, and if it slides, release the brake, to stop twice as fast, turn the wheel in the right direction and anticipate !!

New Year's Eve

by oli 80 » 24/12/10, 23:53

Good evening and good Christmas,

driving and even if you are used to driving in the snow even in difficult situations, even if you are careful on the road while respecting the speed limits, the others do not react often like you, because of these people who do not pay attention, something can happen to you, serious accident, loss of one or more close

which often annoys me when you see road accidents people say, "they just don't have to drive like crazy", or like, "it'll make less idiots on the road"

As I said, someone who is cautious can end up with a driver and lose his life, so you can put off the festivities later when the weather is better.

We should look at average temperatures.
But generally when it snows it is not cold between -3 and + 3 ° C.
Me who moves me almost by bike including in the middle of the night, I think it is a lot colder this year than last year.

My biggest pb this year on a bike is not the snow on the ground nor the cold but just those fucking snowflakes that fool my eyes.
