Carbon footprint of a ski resort in the Alps

Given the JT National FR3 at noon today ... soon on EconoTV.

The association Mountain Rider achieved the energy audit and carbon SAINT MARTIN DE BELLEVILLE ski resort (LES MENUIRES, Val Thorens)

Surprisingly: 74% of GHG provienent vehicles tourists.
Which is ultimately not so surprising when you think about it a little more, the average must be 4 to 500 km to go "skiing" and the report speaks of 300 vehicles per season!

Details of the figures, methods and results in report balance of greenhouse gases a ski sation

Please note these figures are T eq. C. to obtain T eq. CO2 multiply by a ratio of 44 / 12 or 3.67. If anyone knows the value of using the equivalent C rather than CO2 equivalent, would interest me ...

The figures are less afraid with t Eq C than T CO2 Eq.
And the pill helps. : Evil:
