here I make sure to have another quote which is even more expensive is 2700 euros after discount for 40 m2:

- either 24 cm of isofloc wadding classified as M1 type fire, and after compaction we arrive at 20cm according to the doc cstb.

- 19mm chipboard

+ ten-year guarantee

I am also awaiting a proposal for crawlers with removal and laying of tiles.

according to the person I saw the problems of air flow can come from problem of insulation of roof spaces.

This person located the region without isolation or not ??
If words without evidence, you have to look for the corner without insulation or shriveled insulation !!

This quote will be higher and you only need to remove and install a few tiles to test and find out for yourself, with a scale, if the insulation is poor (no insulation or stunted glass wool).
It all depends on whether the crawlers are insulated almost everywhere or not at all, because the work is not the same, threading glass wool in a few places between the cleats, and resting these tiles, is not at all the same as deposit the roof and a lot of cleats, lay the glass wool, change them and put back the tiles, new given the work required.

For my neighbour's house of 135m2 habitable, this work to redo the roof and improve the insulation of the roof, cost € 20000! In my opinion it has improved little, because you have to insulate all the walls from the outside for that, but he is satisfied psychologically!

no the person did not detect a place without insulation, but noticed that in some places the LV is in dust as in places of the roof we see the day of a lack of cement on some tules at the top of the roof.

in terms of creeping it will be necessary to see at the time of the roofing work in any case I hope not 20 euros as with your neighbor.

to return to my quote is that the price difference can come from the brand of wadding because in offer 1 it is belouate and the other is isofloc.

here I make my small calculations if I carry out the work myself:

either the 12,5 kg bag or 1,95 m² per thick bag. 200 mm at 19 euros

so for my 40m2:

40 / 1.95 = 20.51 bags * 2 to have a thickness of 40cm and 30cm after packing.

or 42 bags * 19 = 798 euros of cotton wool.

after that I have to look at the price of the joists to increase my joists from 18cm to 30 cm. + the osb floor.

if we compare to the offer of 2000 euros on which I will benefit from a tax credit, it is not sure that it is interesting to do it itself.
the concern is that in GSB we pay the VAT at 19.6 or the professional the invoice at 5.5%

It is a frequent paradox and it is indeed one of the "problem" of tax credits, because in the end it is still paid by society ...

But it is better that it goes in there rather than in weapons ... or other state waste ...

If people stop isolating themselves or buying energy savings, very strongly, the disturbed balance of supply and demand will lower prices !!

because there that I do it by a pro or myself the price will be almost that the same.

the only difference is that the pro will project it and I should spread it manually, and the result may not be the same.

I especially believe that the more we will consume a product the more its price will drop. The more we consumed photovoltaic panels (thanks to the bonuses and incentives) the more the panels fell in price. Once the premium was removed, prices fell further as there was a lot of competition.

So you might as well let someone do it, it will prevent you from "breaking your ass" ... while still hoping that it is done as well (if they are pros, then we can assume that they are).

dedeleco had written:
Look under the sloping parts of the roof inaccessible at the edge of the attic by lifting the tiles on the roof the parts with glass wool loose or removed or wet (tiled felony?), Etc ..,.
I speak from my personal experience, it is essential to be able to go on its roof and to inspect each tile and the wool below !!!!!!!. Much more than doubling the insulation of the accessible part of the attic from 15 to 30cm !!

Have you lifted tiles and looked for insulation holes?

If not, I persist in thinking that it is more useful first than to double the visible roof space, to know the state of the invisible easily.
Your insulation 7cm walls and roofs should give a house with D, even E and not F in my opinion and the comparison with houses in similar sales or one of my houses, with its 2cm and similar roofs and which had holes under the tiles . !!
There must be hidden faults to be corrected first.
If they are not found and then corrected, other insulation work may not bring the expected improvement, such as wanting to keep water in a pierced basket without repair in the right place. !!
I could be wrong, but an examination of the roof and what is underneath is fundamental, at least at home !!
