The stability of the plane is impressive ... that's why it's done indoors I guess?

These planes are mostly very light in relation to the installed power and can fly slowly, with an extraordinary maneuverability. Some have aero-brakes on the wings to slow them down. The fuselage is a simple board of polystyrene (the craft is flying on the edge without problems) and the weight receiver-servo-batteries is insignificant compared to what we have known in the past. I saw with a reversible propeller that drove to the ground, stopped the nose at 5 cm from the floor, then went backwards vertically ...Christophe wrote:Nice aerial ballet! highflyaddict

Accident. At least one person lost his life and four others were seriously injured in a collision between two police helicopters during an exercise above the Berlin Olympic Stadium on Thursday. The causes of the accident were unknown at first, but heavy snowfall hit the German capital on Thursday. Some 400 police were mobilized for this exercise which aimed in particular to repeat an intervention in case of presence of hooligans in a stadium.
