FESTIVAL DETOURS OF THE WORLD / 10ÈME EDITION
Festival of Living and Popular Civilizations
18, 19 and 20 July 2013 in Chanac (Lozère)
"10 years of activism where wealth is born out of the meeting of differences"
A free, demanding, citizen, dynamic and popular festival of national stature, Détours du Monde invites since 10 years to a journey of the senses and the spirit, to discover the cultures of the earth and the human by offering works living, with a cosmopolitan vision, without social or ethnic boundaries. On the occasion of this tenth anniversary, many meetings will be offered to festival-goers. A conference-debate led by Pierre Rabhi will open the festival. Throughout the days of the 19 and 20 July, conferences-debates, solos of the World, radio Rumors of the World, street arts, circus, craft market ... and many other things will be the opportunity to discover d other cultures and other ways of thinking. During the evenings, a large festive and dancing musical scene will be invested by musicians from all over the world. Finally, specially set up for this edition, a scene from here and elsewhere will offer festival-goers to discover the artists differently thanks to a scene of meetings, before the concerts in the evening; at once accessible, close and eclectic, it will be for the spectators a place of generosity, listening and letting go ...
