It still explains why we are tempted by cheap shit. Personally, 25 € is more than my electricity bill for a month, it makes you think ...

Another question: is it really so "miraculous" that energy saving bulbs? I think about gas, the means necessary for production etc ... (Dsl, I know absolutely nothing about it :()

Certainly, everyone buys what they want. But there is a difference between:

- buy a € 2 bulb and expect no more than a € 2 bulb can give
- buy a bulb at 2 € and wait for the quality and longevity of a high-end bulb at 20 € (and then complain about it).

No, no miracle in there, but it is still a matter of logic: it is more ecological to buy 1 single bulb guaranteed 15 h, allowing you to save for 000 € of electricity over its lifetime rather than x low-end bulbs that will make you consume more. To find out more, take a look at Christophe's calculations on this page: https://www.econologie.com/forums/ampoules-f ... t4742.html

PS: what is it, my mother? :D

To complete Christine's answer: you should not look at the bottom but at the top of the link. You have a comparator that takes EVERYTHING into account on the consumer side: consumption, lifespan, purchase price, price 'electricity...
