I saw that from the complete start of the gazogene, with loading of the wood, of the ventilation

The gasifier, I heard about it from my father who was a maquis (g 1939-45). As there was no action (requisitioned by the Germans), the cars ran on the gas generator (in the films of this period, we can see the elongated bottles fixed on the gallery or the sides of the vehicles, including the front wheel drive Citroën).

Maybe that's why, unconsciously, I drive at LPG ??

Hello
in the films of this period, we can clearly see the elongated bottles attached to the gallery or the sides of the vehicles, in particular the Citroën front-wheel drive).

No the cylinders it is city gas or acetylene
the gas generator is like a still placed vertical filled with dry wood sticks we set fire to it and while it is consumed eleur ower swallows this poor gas, In reality it is more complex than it takes creosote purifiers, and dust , cooler, not to mention engine fouling problems. few people walk with oil on diesel and even fewer people walk with a log or sugar.

OK, I confused.

I heard about it when I was little (born in 50); after 55, we talked more about the war in Algeria, then there were the local young people who left there and did not return (ambushes of the FLN). Dirty times too.

My generation went through wars (too young to go to Algeria).

Hopefully the next generations will not know this.

My 2 sons even escaped military service (the eldest who is 29 years old to within a year, thanks to his studies) ..... but the future may hold worse for them with climate change and what risk of ensuing. : Evil:

I watched half of it: it's edifying! in France we are zero: the HBV in Germany will develop more and more and with us, it's just if N.Hulot and Janco know that it exists. Maybe we should send them this video !!!

hello everyone and thank you to Chris and Aidiv for this comprehensive report (which is rare on TV)

43 mins and 52s to say that we are taken for acorns
it's hard !!!
I roll at 50% frying oil without any changes on
my seat from 1995 (ww engine) and I think, given the report, that I
will soon put duck confit legs
in my tank !!!

hope that this kind of reporting becomes widespread and kills
in the bud the will of the petroleum companies to master everything by winning
money on the back of our blue ball !!!

Go for it anyway with candied duck legs, because animal fat tends to freeze earlier than vegetable fat (well, it seems to me)

good for diesel, that's right! there is the boiler, to consume the buchettes, there are also the filters and cooler, there is a fan to blow the gases; to start on gasoline, there was a motorcycle fuel (125cc). The system may seem long to start! it is not so! for the approval (and yes already) it was necessary to be able to leave in less than 7 mm (from memory, to be confirmed)
These gazo made lose power (40%?) The tubes get dirty, and pierce because of the acids which are in these flammable vapors. On a review (LVA) I saw an article on a j7 gazo : Shock: : Cheesy: 10kg of wood at 100km : Lol:
