I found how to prevent the site I advertise.
They give all the info in case of scam.
I warned them, we'll see if the ad disappears from their site.
Scam or not? (firewood)

1) On the one hand, fans of "internet freedom" have always defended this "freedom".
2) So I am going to replace my verse: "total" freedom, it is also the right for the rich to crush the poor, for the clever to rip off the naive, etc ...
So the Internet example shows, in my opinion, that ultra-liberalism, well, it's not happy!
Your reaction, Christophe, makes me happy! That a creator of one of forums the most free plead for a hard interpol Internet seems significant to me! I agree !
3) It is the dimension of the problem that becomes worrying. I avoided a scam of this style to my son: a VW Golf, so called French version, an English guy left in Angeletter, an agent (with a copy of the site of a car transport company actually exists, and if we was paying, the owner gave us the mandate to deliver the car.
As I spoke English, I tried to join the company. Unreachable. And as I was on long sick leave, I insisted on coming to pay on the spot against delivery of the car. I insisted on having the address of the place where the car was "parked" ... Never again! 8 euros saved. Mpon son believed in it, his good business! On a site like "leboncoin"!
It will hurt, all these scams!

a firewood vendor who delivers all over europe you have to be naive to believe when you see that there is no need to drive a lot of km so that transport is more expensive than wood!
but buying online is very convenient
solution to ensure security: always pay by paypal: the money remains with paypal until the buyer has not received the goods ... a rogue can not win anything with this system
paypal problem earns a non negligible commission on all transactions
there is tax everywhere but at least it is for the state we can hope that it is useful
for sale between private individuals it is a private company that makes a profit!
there is not only paypal ... there is also sales site like price minister: we do not pay directly the seller ... it is price minister who keeps the money until delivery
a seller has no reason to refuse to be paid by paypal if the seller agrees to pay some more% to pay the fees: when a seller refuses paypal it is proof that it is a scammer

It is the seller who pays Paypal.
I made a purchase yesterday: price displayed, payment by Paypal the same price, I did not pay anything more.
That said, it is only a display: anyway, in fine, the customer pays all the fees, which are included in the margin taken from the seller, who never sells at a loss.
NB: it is never the "big ones" such as PriceMinister or Cdiscount or Mistergoodeal or Amazon or others that pose a problem. They have no interest in tarnishing their image and are "findable"! It is a proposal for a "private affair", possibly hosted on a well-known site (as said, the "blow" that my son escaped was I believe on Le Bon Coin!).
