1) What annoys me is that this argument, even if it is correct, is often put forward TO DO NOTHING... it must be understood that the future will be a "patchwork" of energies other than fossils ... no energy will replace oil ...

Put together: downsizing, hvp, firewood,, biogas, energy savings and use of solar in addition ... well I'm not sure that the argument "it will not be enough" is still valid .. .

2) Something else that annoys me strongly: "These solutions are not profitable?" Well let's see ... when we quantify the real cost of fossils in the medium term (in the past as in the future) we can be able to make an honest costing ... What is the life of an Iraqi worth? What does the greenhouse effect cost?

Ah well, I'm stupid ... on the contrary for economists and financiers Image, disasters it's 100% Bonus for the GDP (the more there are the more they bandage ....)

And it becomes SERIOUS! Image

3) Obviously if everyone wants to ride Image 4x4 in town ...

To a simple question (can biofuels replace petroleum fuels) the answer is simple, no.

Now, I have never said the opposite of what you are saying, Christophe ... But it is no longer the same question! : Wink:

In this case I would add "currently" in your 1st sentence ...
