In the particular case of biodiesel (Diester of its commercial name in France), this simply indicates that it is made from materials from the living.
Finally, concerning biofuels, hardly any politician (apart from Corine Lepage and maybe Bové?) Knows HBV ... (or does not want to talk about it, since it is not "official")
All talk about biomethanol and biodiesel, and their argument is not wrong.
