Hi André,
I posted the answer at Pitmix by mistake.

Hello
The rod is not the proximity of the intake that disturbs, but rather the flow of exhaust that comes out of the elbow, must hit the end of the rod, it is there that the maximum heat must be concentrated.
For the double passage of exhaust, you give yourself the book, just to warm the envelope, I think a good insulation would be simpler, and just as effective ..
The exhaust heat drops rapidly since the beginning of the reactor, it drops by half in 30cm of runs.
Place 3 themocouples one forward one in the middle and one at the end of the reactor, you'll be surprised.

Thanks Guidi I see that with the probe the range is narrow around 14,7 after 16 it is no longer measurable that's why I stand in the 0,1 and 0,02 and even 0, I do not feel any weakness in the engine when he is dope to water with this poor ratio

Hi Guidi
I just noticed that the Lamba probe connected to a flukc
scale of 0-300 millivolts that if it is impoverished at the extreme it goes through zero and becomes negative (so it continues to measure)

This gives the test for an acceptable walk (slight loss of power)
millivots
Slow motion + 100 to 200
50kmh + 20
100kmh -15
140kmh -32

exceed these values the engine loses power and arrives in a really poor mix
I estimate that my minimum ratio is around 17 / 1
Finding: when the engine is driving, open pawl, it is able to walk poorer than when riding at low load.

Now the fact of doping with water can affect the values of the probe, When the bubbler will be empty I would do the tests
to see if I can still walk with these low ratios.

Hi André,

To measure the signal from the probe, it must be done from the ground wire of the probe and not from the car. The two masses are often a little different.

here are the three configurations in which I manage to run my genset:

I was forced to open a little exhaust before going into the reactor because the ring passage is too small. 1mm annular (dia int 12 and ext 14). it prevents him from climbing the towers.

1 config: carbu origin in the pantone + air intake direct entry
on adm (butane serves me just starter starter)

2 config: carbu origin live on the engine, starter not used, cap on the suction of the pantone:

3 config butane 100% with a te for the ratio of the mixture. plug on reactor.

in configs 1 and 2 I can light a lamp at the output of the generator. in the 3 I'm idling.

here with my tests I understood that the reactor input must be very rich in gasoline with a ridiculous depression.

that's why I'm going to try to get a 49,9cm3 carburetor. or a reduced model carburetor.

tonight I opened my trimmer carb. removal of the acceleration shutter.

I made a mini nozzle that I drilled to the diameter of the sump of carb and that I put in force in the carburetor.

Image

Finally, I manage to suck up a lot of mixing, with the small depression of the reactor.

it starts then it gets carried away, his smoke a lot, then his hold because the mixture becomes much too rich, even air open bottom adm.

but it's promising, I'll try to transplant the automation port to see.

I just realized that it would be nice if I put a gas valve at the intake level to regulate the diet.

I did the cold engine tests, some hot tests, with an extra valve a larger nozzle, or by inserting a needle screw as a screw of wealth.

actually a pen tip bic looks really what I need: thank you andré du pipe!

Hello
For Guidi the measures
it is with the wire coming out of the probe and the mass, To be exact it would be necessary that a wire weld on the exhaust, I use the mass of the engine), what I mean that the signal is positive until has a certain poverty and if you impoverished too much, around the 17 / 1 the signal goes through zero and becomes negative and is raised to negative the maximum that I came down in negative is -35milliv
that I did not know, the voltementre was placed on the board and I did not see the sign become negative, but I like it, I can have a reference to adjust my ratio when I'm doped with water and it's a surprised for me to see that we can go down as low without loss of torque. be more handyman in the circuits I will make a small assembly with the signal of the probe dirctement controler the B + 5volts which go to the pressure signal of the collector
In fact, maintaining the signal of the probe at 0 or slightly negative is very functional. (That's what I do manually with each pot)

For Franck
Normally the reactor is made with a pipe of 1 / 2 inch
and the exhaust duct in a pipe 1 inch pipe does not convert to mm like on Quantum plans!
1 / 2 thumb pipe this is not 12,7 mm, but 21mm outside 14,7 inside following the thickness, these pipe measures are internationally recognized.
Normally this gives a game of more than 2mm between these tubes and it is enough for the exhaust gases of this small engine.
For the carburettor I make a montage similar to yours in my beginnings, it is necessary that your little tube has a semblance of form of venturi and it must be short (not like your drawing)
For the wealth the little mower carburettors have all here a goal of wealth, when you operate with a small nozzle it siphonne in large you must drastically reduce the wealth.
As for the depression is the opposite the depression must be large with a small carburettor if you will never walk on oil,
Normally if you had to look at the photos that I sent you you would notice that I put a valve at the reactor outlet, it is to control the speed of the engine (not the mixture)
In oil do not think that you can run the engine at low speeds below 1000rpm you can not drive a long time, it cooled too much the reactor and you feel the engine rattled lightly, 2000rpm you can walk continuously
hours of time, monitor the oil level if you let the engine go unattended ...
