yes and uh thank you lumberjack for the text explanation!
the debate is immediately clearer! well i think ... so don't forget ethanol = corn corn beet
too much debate kills debate?

to come back (thank you christine)

Well especially that it is precisely the DIESEL fuel that is lacking in France ... speculation when you hold us ...

Mwoué ... my producer told me that the seeds had grown terribly and that you should expect to pay at least 0.90 l, see 1 €.jonule wrote:well!
when we see that the rapeseed producers have grown their fields well, this year there will be rapeseed for everyone!
at 0.85 ct / L it's worth it, almost 2 times cheaper ;-)
and then if not ... eat fries!
I finally ...

yep! well because of the price of wheat (ethanol so) on which rapeseed is indexed!
it is indeed the uprising weapon of the new agro-economic oil tankers!
it was not easy to do, but it was their only weapon ... it's real sold by the way, dare to speculate on food!
Finally you will tell me, between a BIO fuel at 1 € and oil at 1.5 € should be silly to hesitate, right?

It all depends if you take into account the risk of premature wear and tear taken on the engine ... (without doping with water of course )
Few of the engines run at 100% ... at 50% the average price is € 1,25 ... so the economic advantage is quickly limited.
I think that driving in oil should be considered above all as an eco-citizen gesture and not an economic advantage ...

and technically Christophe, all diesel vehicles can run on 100% oil, with + or - some modifications, because they have above all been prepared with diesel; the rule being "any hot engine = 100% oil".
we can technically advance on another subject if you want ;-)
of course there are rules to be observed but the automatic electronics can remedy them in all cases now (passage of oil> diesel if exhaust T ° C <300 ° C for example, same as automatic kit etc ...).
I've been riding 100% recycled oil for 6 years now, no worries.
and that is an undeniable economic advantage!
"as long as there are fries"
after me I will put more risks to dope with water than to run in oil!
ditto engine technology.
