Good evening, I know it has nothing to do with it but beekeepers use a centrifuge to separate the honey from combs of the hive, the wax and other heavy materials go to the bottom, the honey sticks to the walls higher in the device
this centrifuge is only valid for liquid honey
that we find in pots of course but also in small bottles like ketchup
the appliance could be used for oil
you should ask mroutin who owns beehives
Used vegetable oil centrifuge

it is yet another type of centrifuge! the frame is rotated and the honey is ejected ... nothing usable for the oil
it would be possible to build a centrifuge for oil, like the small chemical laboratory centrifuge, but able to centrifuge 2 20 liter cans instead of a few small test tubes
I say 2 can so that it is balanced, for a single can would need a counterweight

Bsoir, my aunt is a beekeeper so I confirm what chatelot is saying, for good beekeepers who respect honey, put the frames in a room between 20 and 24 ° c so that the honey liquefies in order to be extracted by the centrifuge .
thanks anyway .
So no one tried, I found some Americans who have done it and who confirms that it works .
remains to see the electric consumption actually.
What is the middle of your house filter ???
more and thank you for your participation

What is the middle of your house filter ???
Simple, I work in two stages:
1- decantation of 220 liters for 1 month in summer.
2- I recover 200 liters almost clean, which I pass through a 5 micron filter, and this in a closed circuit, this oil passes + -6 times in the filter to be very clean.
Why spend 6 times? pcq the mesh of a filter is never equal, so, on the first pass, some of the large holes in the filter become blocked, on the second pass, even more plugged holes, etc.
This is true, because my discharge pressure at the outlet of the pump increases over time.
(I had created a post just for the construction of this filter)
Ha, I found:

That said, it seems to me that André had spoken of a truck centrifuge.

Hello,
thank you Lejustemilieu, this does not help my time story , but I'm going to watch it again on your filter (I saw it at the time you did it.
As for the centrifuge which André talked about, it was on Simca (that's good I have a friend who is obsessed and has two simca thousand;), I will ask him by the way if he has none not as a spare part), so there are oil centrifuges on the camshaft head, a priori on the 204 too.
so nothing is lost for the juicer even if it doesn't work well enough with the cream separator there is another possibility it's cool.
1 month of settling it is playable in my case it reassures me a little will tell us .
thanks thanks

on the first pass, some of the large holes in the filter become blocked
I'm afraid it is the opposite, given my experience on other filtered products, first the finest are completely blocked and there are only the few big holes to let everything pass from the end remaining, with strong pressure considering their rarity ?????
So the best thing is not to have big holes and to pass over filters progressively thinner, the first stop the large particles, and to clean the filters repeatedly.

there was a centrifugal oil purifier on some old engine, at a time when some engine had no filter at all
now easily interchangeable cartridge filters are the best solution
i think filtering is also the best solution for oil
centrifugation is effective for heavy particles: wear of metals: it will be ineffective for lighter particles: carbon, vegetable fiber

On my side I use a blue plastic container in which
I put a big sock (+ - 60l) in geotextile (sewn by Madame Lapin with fishing line).
The container is always full. When I need it, I remove a seal
from the bottom (3/4 "tap) that I reverse into the sock.
allows the oil to freeze when it has cooled down.
The container is outside and in the shade. The fat stays in
the sock and is used to filter the oil that I add. Dependament
of temperature, I extract + - 30l per day in hot weather.
This oil is used as is.
I have not yet found use for frozen oil.

example of centrifugal filtering machines
Hello
why are you taking your head?
machines specially developed for this exist:
http://www.flexogreen.com/hvp/pages/mac ... ration.php
http://www.greenbull.at/catalog/index.php?cPath=25
the two systems that actually work; effectively for a reduced cost.
