Chine:

If they make as much effort to perfect their technology as they
put in the quality of their products, they will not go far
with their cars / electric motorcycle.
Technology is nothing without quality production.
Even by selling prices it is not possible to compensate for a
bad quality.

Most of the batteries we use in France (cell phones, computers etc.) are made in China and work very well. Chinese and Japanese are the leaders in the field of batteries.

I think that having negative prejudices about China, particularly in terms of electric transport and renewable energies, is largely unfounded.

Renewable energies: China attracts investors

http://www.bulletins-electroniques.com/ ... /56281.htm

According to the Ernst & Young ranking, China now ranks in the "top 5" of the most attractive countries in terms of investment in renewable energies. In the first half of the year, the USA lead, followed by Germany, India, China and Spain. The United Kingdom, moved to 6th place, came out of this "top 5" and France is 9 °. According to the same firm, the total amount of investments in renewable energies should reach 750 billion US $ by 2016.

This movement in the ranking is linked to a strong impulse from the Chinese government, which prescribes a share of 10% for renewable energies by 2010 and 15% in 2020, and has planned an endowment of 2.000 billion Yuan (about 200 billion euros) over the period 2006-2020 for the corresponding program. China is already very active in solar energy and is rapidly increasing its investments in wind energy.
