Hello,
So I just bought a Renault Master, from 1994, 210000km box and new standard exchange engine, invoice supporting 22000km.
I have already made 2 refills about 470km for 43 liters of diesel = 11 l per 100km roughly speaking.
I have a friend, who also has a master's and who has been running rapeseed oil for a few months, and advised me to do so, he briefly looked into the engine and told me that was it. quite possible.
This is why I turn to you so that you explain to me what there is to do (knowing that I am not a do-it-yourselfer, and that I know nothing about the car engine) , steps, procedures, type of oil,%, ...
Thank you in advance for your answers and see you very soon!

For very specific questions about HBV in vehicles, I would advise you to visit a site like www.oliomobile.org

haha!
I see there is not a specialist in the room?
Never mind :
you can already sleep 30% oil without doing anything on your vehicle (tank), because this rate is negligible for viscosity.
what is the brand of your injection pump? if bosch, this rate is reported at 50%
rapeseed oil, sunflower, all that is fatty and liquid.
if used, it must be filtered.
take a look at my site: www.nrjrealiste.fr

hey other questions I read that it was necessary to make 1000km in oil and then draining with changes of filters and all the hassle ?? and after?? the other oil changes are done every 10000-15000, or as the manufacturers recommend?
And who's been running for a long time? it doesn't harm the rest of the vehicle, the injectors (er it is something that I also read that !!), stuff like that ?? because good if I start to run on oil, that I save 300 € after qq months, and then I have costs due to the fact that I drive in oil is what it is worth really worth it? and voui because the ecological side, okay, but hey the plastic bottles, were made how, the iron cans, are not recyclable, ...
Rho, no, but I always want to try, it's just that I can't gather information from everything that hangs out on the net ...

Hello,
no qwouah it's always a pleasure, provided that you too learn it around you ;-)
when you start with oil it cleans the pipes, the grime of the oil enters the diesel filter. when you "start" to feel a difference in starting, accelerations, it's time to change the filter, some it's 1000 others +, - ... so plan in 1 just in case, in advance, in the car if you want to deal with any eventuality and sleep more than peacefully, but hey that's not a VERY important point.
oil changes I have always done (on this kind of vehicles, ours) every 10.000: once I change the oil, another time I change the oil + all filters.
so nothing to modify you do as usual ;-)
I have been using free recycled oil for more than 6 years.
it doesn't harm anything: the diesel engine (and not petroleum diesel) was invented to run on vegetable oil for over 100 years, you think that.
no green side, but alternative!
if, the plastic is recyclable, the iron cans too.
what is the brand of your injection pump? requests to a garage owner ;-)

As I told you above, oil mobile is the most successful site for fuel oil ...sawouah wrote:[...] Rho, not but I always want to try it is simply that I cannot gather the information of all that trails on the net ...
For my part, I have been driving for almost 3 years in oil, keeping the classic maintenance and everything is fine.
On the other hand, if you do this only for the economy, go your way ...
PS: for your information (and to avoid saying nonsense) metal objects are part of what is best recycled.

Little question: when I change my oil (every 7500 km on the ZX TD), I systematically change the oil filter, which costs more than oil. Maybe it is not necessary?

They have made progress at Renault say so because during a move (700km in all), master "turbo" fully loaded (see a little more ...), on the way (350km) we were running at 20L / 100 well packed at a ridiculous average speed rowing to death on the slightest hill, a stop every 100km to flee because the tank was tiny (30L). On return 350km empty we did "only" 15L / 100 .. .I had not done worse (but even slower ...) with a gasoline HY a few years before that ...
