The L214 association broadcasts an overwhelming video of a chicken farm in Vendée

By lefigaro.fr on 30/05/2017

This new video shows the deplorable sanitary conditions in which laying hens are raised in battery. The association, accustomed to the distribution of shocking videos, challenges the Panzani pasta brand, which partly sources from this farm.
.......................
This video filmed in hidden camera during the month of May, according to the association, shows depleted animals, some seriously injured or visibly affected by anomalies. Crowded into cages, the hens do not see the light of day and rub shoulders with dead congeners, left on the ground. The images broadcast also show visible lice on the eggs, in a place with questionable cleanliness. L214 points out that regulatory failings are also visible, such as the absence of litter and certain compulsory adjustments.

The association denounces "appalling sanitary conditions" and "alarming", in which the hens are "pushed to the limits of their physical resistance". She announces her decision to file a complaint against the breeding with the High Court of La Roche-sur-Yon. "This situation is further proof, if it were necessary, that cage farming must disappear urgently," argues L214.

unfortunately this type of breeding is intended to multiply because the demand is increasing (after the problems on other meats) and having a less concentrated breeding is a loss of production for the breeder.
The documentary cited, shows the fate of envious male chicks, passed to the grinder, pseudo anesthetized as for cattle who continue to struggle and who are gutted still alive and conscious. And we play the outraged sentimentalists on the Nazi death camps!
There is no direct danger, it is a fact. Cloning is, however, another important step towards reducing genetic variability, and therefore towards health problems which go with it and which imply an ever-increasing use of medication,
We do not know anything! This would require experience over several successive generations, which is not the case because too expensive for the exploit ... eur. The danger is to consider clones as reproductions of industrial objects and therefore without genetic variability which, unless you have an initial animal in perfect health (which does not exist) can therefore transmit, to infinity, risks of pathologies (as for the mad cow prion) which have not been the subject of in-depth studies and above all very prolonged over several generations,.
