The ranking is maintained ...

The book stays regularly in or near the 500 best-selling books in all categories, which is excellent ...

First session of dedication to Thônes (Hte Savoie) this Saturday morning ... I imagined to be bored ... When I arrive, the first client waits for me and that did not stop until the closing. A small score of books sold. The bookseller told me to have sold thirty since he has (following the command of one of my fans there) ...

Awesome!

Maybe someday a trip to the 53 ???

For information, I very much appreciated the formula that we practiced with the AJAVA (Association of Gardeners Amateurs of the Valley of the Aravis), that is to say:

- Friday night, a conference
- Saturday afternoon, a "questions and answers" workshop

The conference took me about two hours, without the pressure of time; So, I'm more relaxed, more fluid ... Some people who could not be here the next day asked me their questions as I was writing the book to those who could not go to the bookshop the next morning. ..

We listed the questions at the start of the second session, to avoid zig-zagging. This makes it possible to group together all the questions related to the same topic. 3 pages of "flipchart" before starting! And it was gone for 4 hours of answers ... I really like this face-to-face where I can put myself in the shoes of those who have questions ...

The two are very complementary: it is necessary first to give the "framework" of the reflection. So that I make a presentation. And the audience is passive, otherwise I won't move forward. He suffered a little ...

The next day he has his revenge. And it's me who goes through their questions - within one or two, in my forties, I had a good answer [by "good", I mean an intelligent answer that advances the schmilblick!]. I dodged a bit once. And on one, I had nothing smart to say so I told them!

I think that around AJAVA will be formed the first "structured" group (association, committee, actions) of phenoculture ... Perhaps the beginning of the network I dreamed of?

Yesterday, "Open House" day at a (commercial) horticulturalist / permacultivist, with a book sales table. It's nice to meet people in such a context and see their reactions, discuss ... I didn't count: fifteen books sold.

I realized how much the title calls out. "Here, this is for you!" said mockingly such a lady to her husband, history of implying publicly that it is a slacker ... "Here, look, it is for you!" said another from whom I learn during the discussion that the husband is interested in permaculture but finds it tiring for his back and does not move quickly ...

I don't have a count, because editing is complicated. A publisher prints and "places" books in the networks ... But this is not then sold. Just "come out". The bookseller can return them if he does not sell and the publisher can send them to the pestle!

What I know :

a) 5 000 was pulled out, then 3 000 more.

b) not long ago, 250 to 280 were sold per week ("cash out", that is to say actually sold)

c) "restocking" (booksellers who order more) are very good (50 to 100 per day); one can think that it is because they have sold (or are close to selling) their stock ... A few contacts (Librairie de Thônes, bookseller from Barr) give me the same story: it is going well, and they have ordered twice ... I am Saturday at the FNAC in Strasbourg, I would have some information then ...

d) I received my 5th cent, for what I sell at the end of the conference, during various "Open Days" where I am invited ... 400 sales therefore (well, there were some donations too)
