The Bordeaux mixture pointed by 60 million consumers as pollutant poisoning water and soil. Already 2 countries ban copper in agricultural treatments.

and micronized copper, which is not in ionic form?
it will oxidize and pass in ionic form, but where in our soil? further? how long?
this is what is sold instead of the Bordeaux mixture for those who want to stop
not read the package I do not know its action

I have a huge doubt! Does copper "metal" act ??? To my knowledge, but as said, I have a doubt, it is the copper ion. Not the metal.

The problem arises from the fact that the copper "metal" (neutral atom) Cu and the copper ion Cu++ bear the same name.

Beyond the copper sulphate of the Bordeaux mixture, there are several other copper salts, some with micronized formulations (micronized copper hydroxide, micronized copper oxychloride). But in these formulas, it is always the copper ion.

Sulfur, on the other hand, is micronized sulfur that is sprayed. It spontaneously oxidizes into active sulphite ions. Before finishing oxidized and leave in the air ...

And not the least! The Netherlands in particular. England too, and Denmark. This would make 3. Including in the "organic" specifications. Switzerland has significantly reduced the tolerated dose (1,5 kg of Cu per ha and per year - against 5 in France).
