Hello everyone!
So first let's start with the presentations:
We are two brothers:
Mickael 32 years old in love with reading, and grumpy in his spare time!
Kévin 27 years old, an overflowing curiosity (sometimes too much) and extremely head in the air!
We are Alsatians who migrated to Franche-Comté in Haut-Doubs! (And it curds severe in winter!)
Our common point (apart from our parents) is nature!
Besides, we have already had an apiary of 5 hives for 3 years! (A world just as fascinating as the garden!)
Like many of us I guess we were all intrigued by Didier! This way of doing and explaining is really clear and even for novices like we manage to analyze and understand what the boss says! Must say that we understand very quickly but must explain to us for a long time: D!
In short, let's come back to our cucurbits (I said, we learn quickly: p). Thanks to an association in our small town we finally have access to a piece of land that will have to be landscaped so that it looks almost like a garden!
This is what we want to put in place on this piece of land;
6 strips 12m x 1,5m grown for a total of 108m ² ~
A henhouse with 12 around 16 hens (For eggs and ... For animal lovers jumped the line meat !
A 2,5m x 3m greenhouse that will not be fully closed, with openings etc ,,, (We will give you plenty of promised photos and even videos if you are good!) Taking note of Didier's advice!
A carrer of medicinal plant. (Mickael is a big fan of Getafix),
and of course a barbecue and deckchairs! (the beers will be nearby in the cooler!)
the land already has 3 currant trees on the edges of the land which we have given quite a bit this year, moreover, on this border we will try to “fenced” with raspberries to begin with.
Of course the goal of this garden is to apply the so-called "phenoculture" method.
We will use peasant seeds to harvest our own seeds and plant them the following year.
All good and good all this blah blah but concretely what does it all give eh !?
We cleared and we FINALLY managed to find hay (weeks of research ... In the region of the haut-doubs it's quite surprising) and spread this hay on our 6 strips
We also found some BRF (the local waste collection center gives it for free), manure (normally we should not use it) and started to weave a small network with local associations and the "old ones"!
Go some small photos:
Kévin on the left and mickael on the right:
The first 3 bands:
The last 3 tapes: (The band photos are taken the same day with two different cameras we feel the difference)
Mint that grows all by itself:
And without forgetting our little chicks who wander when we are present:
Next step:
- The planting of 5 raspberry.
- The construction of the greenhouse.
- The construction of large chicken coop and the enclosure.
I have lots of questions that I'll put you a little later!

A sunny little hello from the south coast of Crete ... Blue sky. Farting sun. The wind. Fresh beers (standard, "industrial Kro" type - there is still a market for micro-breweries!).
[Well, I'm working on the final version of my book]
