State at the Easter holidays.

On arrival several clear observations.

Do not rush, potatoes planted or laid the 20 March grow, at least roots. Some rapids already have frozen tips of shoots, there is still a month of risks and frosts expected Wednesday.
I was able to retrieve a bale of straw, I will need a second, to mount mounds and protect the shoots of the frost. It works, I could see it on Wednesday morning, white frost on the straw. The straw is airy, for potatoes, peas, beans, to add a layer on the hay seems to me a good idea.
I put a thin layer of air on the carrots.

The parts under hay are wet, the earthworms are walking in the first cms, the soil is cold. Some buttercups and another whose name I do not know, with small purple flowers and round seed pods.
The plantations under hay, peas, potatoes, shallots and onions, are a relative delay, since they must cross it.
I do not think the thickness is already diminished.
The parts of worked land are very lumpy and airy, the non-worked parts are just 'softened'.

The land under Mulch is in the same state, the plantations look more advanced because thickness to cross is less. The Mulch has really melted, enough for grasses to pass. it is hotter.

Unprotected paths are dry and cracked, only buttercups grow there.
The grassed paths are ... Grassed.
I sowed White Clover on the fly over all, to see the weather, I was not stingy.

Mushrooms and a natural slug hiding well at the edge of the hay.

My garlic is already starting to have yellow leaves. A little less than you but still not too normal.

Phil,
Well found ! The garlic, these are leaves that have 6 months, my neighbors gardeners 'traditional' tell me not to worry. A link with the organic farmer's speech?
This week they have been watching, and here the garden is all tiller and barely started.

Sicetaitsimple,
Indeed there is not much to see, it is to show the evolution as and when my passage.
And for the automatic watering I will not have time to take care of it, it will be for the next time.

On the part in phenoculture directly on meadow, about 20 m2, close-ups on the only comfrey that crosses, the others I still do not have the name.
No other varieties are passing for now. I did not try to remove them.

Here is the vegetable garden as I leave it at 16 April. We see a lot of straw, it is laid in duplicate on the hay and the Mulch as antifreeze, it is an old boot, that's why there are brown tips.
