Soil pollution: am I responsible?

Hello everybody
Can someone give me information on a land belonging to me since 1990 and polluted by a company in the 1975 years and whose DRIRE asks me the depollution? Am I responsible?

Oula delicate situation and you are not for nothing but it was necessary to be informed before the purchase .... if the company still exists to see with it ... or then return you against the salesman of the ground for "vice hidden "... There is surely something to be done ... if society still exists. Otherwise, there is no manager. Otherwise, it will be necessary to prove individual responsibilities or that of the administrations etc.
