The garden on May 16, 2017

And here is the continuation, and starting from the right:
The potatoes of which one foot is already in flower, I add my clippings to them as I go.
The beans full of aphids, but I saw a ladybug there, so all is not lost, and if it doesn't work out, no big deal, it will end up in green manure. Between the two is a row of onions.
Then the row of strawberries without strawberries, they were eaten by others ...
And finally the garlic, the shallots and the onions, a little loss, but I would see to the harvest (for garlic, it is normal, a sprig of garlic is not refused : Wink: )
And on the far left are green manures sown at the start of the year (facelie, mustard, ...)

The frame with the first seedlings

The first seedlings are in the frame, only tomato plants kindly provided by friend and neighbor, each batch being of a different species, I separated them, but I do not know the variety.
And for the record, I oriented the chassis so that it can benefit from all this good rain to come.

Bonjour à tous
Some photos and news from the vegetable garden:

The left side of the garden

And so in this photo we have the tomatoes sown late and replanted a few days ago, a few salads starting to take shape and the onions doing quite well.

Garlic and strawberries

Then, the strawberries transplanted at the beginning of the year seem to hold the shock, on the side of the garlic, it is more mixed, I do not think I have planted them deep enough, yet they were planted close to the ground.

And the following:

Potatoes

I pulled off a stalk last week, 2 potatoes only, but medium sized, I think I'll eat them as I go, it will make room. I tested the salad transplanting, about fifteen feet in the brf, and two on hay organic farmer method, result, half of the salads in the brf has disappeared, the two feet on hay are doing well and are slightly ahead than those in the brf, to retest.

The sowing frame

Seedlings, continuation and end

And so finally, the late sowing : roll: from left to right and a little jumbled up: plenty of tomato stalks (at least for me), then peppers, zucchini, cucumber, salads and leeks in the white tray, melon, broccoli, carrot and two three things that I did not notice. And just to finish, I made a seedling of winter radishes in the row of beans that I pulled up a short time ago.
Good phenoculture to all.

After a month and a half without news, here I am back. After a tough stint for salads (barely 1/4 of the feet survived) I think the garlic and shallot harvest will be minimal. Onions are doing better, about 50% have grown to normal size. As for the late plants (in fact everything else : roll: ), the first two tomatoes have appeared, and two round courgettes will be good to eat next week. You just have to wait :) .

Some news from the vegetable garden, the photos were taken on August 26th.

Tomatoes and watermelon

The tomatoes are doing well for the moment, I ate the first one 3 days ago (well, with a month and a half late in the plantation, we will not complain).
IMG_20170827_163740.jpg
These are not salads

No trace of mildew, even on the feet on the ground.

These are not salads

A vine branch, used as a marker is well suited to the brf, this fall it will join my small row of vines, note right next to the curly crowded with brf, the blackbirds are constantly in the garden and dig like sick people.

Patisson, zucchini and cucumber

The first patisson is ready to be eaten, as for the rest, the diseases are already present, and yet, no or little humidity, no watering, and no rain ...

... And no CONDENSATION in the early morning either ??????

For me, without any rain either, it is the trigger for the development of powdery mildew, for example (and incidentally, a risk factor, depending on the duration, for mildew).

There was dew some morning, but for how long? I don't know, I can't keep watch, my boss won't understand : Mrgreen: .
And the mildew has arrived, : Evil: I will do some photos again this weekend.

I was reacting to your "little or no humidity". In condensing corners, we forget them all the time!

I think that with you, as with me, the condensations are the triggering factor, providing the free water necessary for the germination of zoospores ...

Are you in a valley ???
