What design with earth embankments?

Hello everyone, I need your advice. I would like to make a corner with earth fill, but I'm not sure how to do it and what can I plant as green manure for example if it is necessary and feasible. For the moment I have covered the plot with hay and dead leaves.

Hello, is the embankment earth already in place? What thickness? Does good backfill soil contain earthworms? I presume that if the ground is covered it is because the earth of embankment is in place. So no problem, just wait for spring.
