The bathtub drone is soft ... : Cheesy:

Here is its evolution, the manned racer drone ... suddenly it's more a drone ...

Mwais ...
The visor of the "passenger's" helmet is very black when he performs acrobatics in the air, it is most certainly a dummy that does not weigh very heavy.
When there is a real passenger, the machine only rises a few cm taking advantage of the ground effect.
In short, I am not convinced.
[edit] around 5 min we see the guy wearing the mannequin at arm's length.

Yes that's right ... I imagine that no one has had the courage yet to play the guinea pig monkey? Or that they cut in the assembly because it is simply illegal? Or that there are still things to check ...

Since obviously the drone is still piloting from outside ... it is still a drone ...

If the mannequin was there to simulate the weight of a passenger, OK But there, it does not weigh much and only serves to look pretty on the image.
In the end, from what I can deduce from the video, it's just a big drone with enough room to accommodate a seated human, but not the push necessary to make it take off beyond 20cm.

Would this machine be able to climb high enough to check that the ground is flat?

Is there any doubt that it would be flat?
