good evening everyone
So here, the idea is taken to me during a .. dream! Since then, I do not leave her. I looked right on the left on the internet, I saw that I was not the only one to have had this funny dream. I reviewed the 68 pages, I retained some ideas.
I think already put a rear wheel instead of the front wheel (will certainly slightly spread the fork), which will allow me to have free sprockets, without bothering to traffic the rear wheel. The engine would be attached to the fork, or on a front luggage rack, it's to see according to the fastening means. Chain transmission, of course.
The batteries would be attached to the rear luggage rack.
Until then, it seems to me not too impossible. Unless there are opinions against? I especially want to avoid tampering with a rear wheel to put pinions coasting on the other side, or the like. What I have just told you seems to me the simplest to achieve.
Now, I search for an engine. I went to see in a dump, they have no right to give.
I saw that a 250w scooter engine was ideal, but besides buying it, I do not see where and how to get it. My father (yes, I only have 16ans) told me about a wiper motor. I have looked a bit on the internet, some go up to about 180w, with a good couple, but the speed of rotation .. Ouch ouch ..: s
Would it go anyway?
Or do you have any other motor idea easily found?
I thank all those who can help me in advance. This project, even if it will not be the norm and legal I know it well, is close to my heart. I would be proud to ride on something I built with my own hands, it would be great :)
Have a nice evening and see you soon.
Olivier

An idea of power? Sufficient for a bike?
Thank you
I said that I already have an old trot 'of 80w, not enough, of course. The controller could go with a more powerful engine?
(Edit: Sorry for the ebay link: s)

Sorry for the HS, but thanks to your links I just discovered a French invention that arrives on the market: The DREAMSLIDE
I put the link to the official website so that you can see in detail the video of the original pedaling system.
I've been thinking about how to pedal more naturally and more efficiently. This proposal is quite convincing ...
