yes France!

the main tax on vehicles is the fuel tax!

the heavier a vehicle the more it consumes and the more tax you pay on fuel

the fuel tax is naturally fair because it taxes real consumption ... unlike calculations on measurements in an easily tampered laboratory

countries where gasoline is low taxed like USA we have large cars ... France with expensive gasoline has relatively small cars, although I think it is desirable to make it even lighter

but to make it lighter it is not a tax incentive that is lacking, it is an offer from the manufacturer, and a reduction in safety standards which requires making cars too solid

when we were driving too fast 30 years ago we had the right to have fragile and dangerous cars ... we imposed more solid cars at the same time as we reduced the speed ... no one thought that speed reduction would make cars lighter

but it's difficult with the heavy vehicle fleet to market soaps now ...

It would be better to hybridize vehicles of a slightly smaller size in the style of the 1990s. An R19 or a 405 hybrid would be ideal ...
