Morocco's climate

The Moroccan climate is both Mediterranean and Atlantic, with a dry and hot season coupled with a cold and wet season, the end of the hot period being marked by the rains in October.
The presence of the sea attenuates temperature differences, tempers the seasons and increases the humidity of the air (400 to 800 mm of rain on the coast).
In the interior, the climate varies depending on the altitude. The summers are hot and dry, especially when the hot sirocco or chergui blows, summer wind coming from the Sahara. In this season, the average temperatures are from 22 ° C to 24 ° C. The winters are cold and rainy with frequent frost and snow. The average temperature then changes from 12 ° C to 14 ° C and can drop exceptionally down to - 20 ° C. Pre-Saharan and Saharan Morocco has a dry desert climate.

Not that hot ... :? But there is sun :D

First thank you for the interest that you all have on this subject, I am at your disposal, can start now, just just orient myself to do the construction, we can test several types until we arrive at the adequate construction, I repeat it I am at your disposal for any information.

To get by at the least expensive, I only see recycled steel pipe on which we weld old sheet metal of the same metal. Darken with smoke black. Cover with old recovery windows. The tank can be an old metal barrel, also exposed to the sun on the roof.

For now, you will certainly make hot water but for aesthetics, hello! : Evil: We must also think about the environment ... visual pollution also exists, there are quite a few in France ..

It is not because it is made with recycling that it is necessarily ugly! A little imagination can compensate for the lack of means. We can design a small shelter with a glazed frame on the south side, install the drum inside, and decorate everything or surround it with greenery.

The fridge grill does not seem to me a very good solution because the flow will be ridiculous unless we connect 4 or 5 in parallel. In the genre I am building a solar system to preheat the water that goes into several electric water heaters.
I will put 200 m of black garden hose in 25 on my roof without glass the cold water will heat up in summer the temperature will rise to around 70 ° in winter of course this will be insufficient but it will still be preheated then I will send it in a first water heater without resistance. To circulate the water I will simply put a solenoid valve at the hot outlet of this water heater which will open from 12h to 15h and flow of 200l for 3h this water will return to the water table. I specify that I have a well and the cost of pumping the water for me is very low.

Of course this system will be less efficient than a solar panel but much cheaper is jugaad.

You would be amazed at the energy that a little water can carry.

Yes, paralleling is possible.
