Good solar installations

Pattrick, here, in this case, we are not talking about electricity production but hot water :?

the problem with salmonella is when you drink the water?
What are the risks ?
breathe hot water in the shower? no that is legionella?

The problem with an all-copper absorber is the price of the metal (sheet metal + pipes).
To get by at the least expensive, I only see recycled steel pipe on which we weld old sheet metal of the same metal. Darken with smoke black. Cover with old recovery windows. The tank can be an old metal barrel, also exposed to the sun on the roof.

With us, the lack of sun requires a well insulated installation, which is not necessary in a country where there is sun every day. The sun is free, as much to capture it with the cheapest materials possible. If we only have small means, it's either here or nothing anyway.
During a trip to Morocco, under an oppressive sun, I saw luxury hotels burning fuel to heat the DHW. These guys are not clear.

First of all, the Rachid gives his needs, if he wishes…
The domestic hot water needs in Morocco are probably not the same as in Belgium.
What is fashion in Morocco? The electric cumulus, or the wood-heated washing machine?

If flat radiators do not exist, on the other hand, they are mounted very well on a car gallery, for import.

Do not see any racism in my words, only exasperation.
The needs are not the same. Those who want it can work very well, and recover much better than any of us, if necessary.

I had the chance to visit part of Mexico in 10 days.
In small ordinary houses of the poor, rectangular, concrete blocks.
(Must not pay the housing tax, nor the land, because the location is the first to take it). there is a black ball on the flat terrace (within 1 cubic meter).

It is a direct solar water heater, and that is enough for daily needs.

What good is a sophisticated flat sensor, when a container painted black is enough, not a round? In winter, we heat a pot, or we do without.

The sphere is probably not the best shape for a sensor tank. It has a minimum surface for a maximum capacity. The opposite would be necessary (the largest possible surface).
As suggested Switzerland, a simple barrel painted black can do the trick. I saw a report on a guy crossing the Sahara: the water in the drums transported by the dromedary rose to 70 ° under the sun, so it was sterilized daily!
We can add a plan-sensor tinkered with makeshift means to further increase the temperature.
It would be best to start testing with a simple drum with water inlet at the bottom and outlet at the top, and see the results.

Do not forget to cover everything with blankets at sunset to reduce losses during the night.
