To paraphrase (very) freely Goebbels, "when I hear a phrase like this:" working for the good of the environment ", I take out my helmet (acoustic protection Inside). : Lol:

Uh, no need to paraphrase manure eh!

And how does this shock you?

Is not the case can be?

Renewable energies is not the future of humanity? And possibly safeguarding the worst climate level?

Do not worry, I do not have a better opinion of this sad character, it was just a form of humor shifted ... I did not speak about revolver ... 8)

Basically, I would be of your opinion if the goals of this company were radically different from the so-called "classic" firms, but it is the same logic of abstract accumulation of value that applies, just a new commercial approach to sell the product, without much success, since it can only work thanks to a continuous infusion of subsidies and irrecoverable loans ...

It is possible that less damaging modes of energy capture are the future (?), But it should not be forgotten that their use will remain the same as the conventional sources, with a major problem in addition: solar energy presents two enormous disadvantages.
The first is that its direct pollution is reduced, so pushes to a growth, necessity internal to our type of economy.
The second is that energy is the means used by our species to destroy the conditions of life on earth, and the quantities of solar energy are phamous and inexhaustible ...

So, for many of them, these are tremendous assets, and for me they are very real threats if they had a chance to win.

I would also share your opinion, if, in the context of a societal change, the objectives pursued were reassessed, but it is probably too late, since mentalities have changed and are now too alienated from their gadgets to consider anything else. . and that on the other hand the system in place can no longer be used, even temporarily to build real energy alternatives and not this pitiful "energy transition", to be placed alongside other formulas of the same water, such as " selective sorting "! Money is the nerve of war ... including economic warfare!

If a company can evolve the company to a carbon-free company and at the same time earn money for its growth (and its shareholders) I do not see where the wrong is? It is always better than a company that puts its growth on the plundering of natural resources or the poisoning of people (junk food, chemistry ...)

Solar concentrating can be profitable without subsidy (Desertec project) ... solar PV has just become it in France (from 70 € / MWh!)

If we just injected 0.1% of the world's GDP into the development of solar every year ... I do not believe that mankind would lose ...

Very early, I was decreasing lunar, but at the time it was not part of the usual vocabulary ...
