3DRag untimely stops

by Papyray » 11/08/14, 17:54

Good morning all.

a problem with 3DRag. It stops after 10-20 minutes
On printing.
I changed the card, the drivers, the usb cable, the pc (windows Xp)
set the voltage to 0,43 v, power supply, install a fan ...
Nothing to do it stops.
The pc-card link works, the extruder and bed heating
works and the LEDs continue to flash.
Do you have any idea where this problem comes from?
With thanks

Not a specialist in the thing, but I once had a problem resembling a PC which controlled a CN. The CN also stopped after a few minutes "for no reason".
After many hours looking for the gag on the app and the CN, we realized that it was related to the standby of the PC. By transferring the screensaver the problem was solved (it was with Win 95 : Mrgreen: ).

This 3D printer (similar to the K8200: https://www.econologie.com/shop/impriman ... p-511.html ) requires a powerful PC, what is your configuration?

You need at least an i3 processor and 4GB of RAM ...
I have an i5 and when I do something else with that has a direct impact on the printing speed!

What does the seller think of it where you bought it?

Thank you for your answers.
I removed the screensaver.
Print for about twenty minutes and stop!
But I got a repeat error message: like "an unknown error has appeared which may cause a malfunction"
I will orient myself on the pc side.

If you make an impression shorter than twenty minutes, does it finish properly or does it crash after 20 minutes whatever you do?
