Seen this this morning on the CIC website! Interbank servers are spending the holidays now!?!?

Completely mind blowing !! Is not it?

Attention, remember to anticipate your banking operations! No interbank exchange will be possible on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 December 2014, as well as on Thursday 1 January 2015.

Same for you?

It may be a maintenance / update operation. :?:
They would then have decided to schedule it when the number of transactions would be the lowest ... : Idea:

Moué bof I don't really believe in it: a 2 + 1 day maintenance operation? Weird isn't it? Bank maintenance operations are carried out in a few hours at most ...

In my humble opinion this "hides" something else ... but then what?

1) maybe it only concerns CIC.

2) some operations can be long, such as failovers which require many tests

3) January 1st is often a closing day (in fact, we close on the 31st, but we do the operations on the 1st)

4) even if it is short, we sometimes prefer to take precautions,

The problem concerns the Belgian servers only or also the French?
I'm at CIC and I didn't have the info ...

It is a screenshot of their account management server.

It is an account in France (that of the shop) ... I do not believe that the CIC exists in Belgium ...
