E-book: Incantations for a sustainable future - Rémi Guillet

Incantations for a sustainable future: book written by Rémi Guillet, with the contribution of Laurent Leloup. E-book published by Finyear Éditions.

In the context of crisis, economic, financial, monetary, social, societal, ecological ... which affects the world at the end of the first decade of the 21st century, the author * of "For more solidarity between capital and work ..." (published by the Harmattan in 2004 and 2009) extends here his reflections carried out in a university framework at the very beginning of the 2000s on the subject of “closer ties between shareholders and employees in the sa”…

From this broader reflection, it appears that solutions to the current crisis, to a sustainable future, require more sharing of "what is" than an endless expectation of growth, which has become all the more uncertain and probably weak in comparison to what the end of the past century knew that, and among other obstacles to our desire for development, we will soon have to “manufacture” the energy which our way of life cannot be pass ..., that environmental disasters will thwart our projects, destroy our infrastructure ...

So the company, “cross-value agency” which has not been able to share fairly the growth it has created over the past thirty years, finance, with its delusions of production of virtual values, represent two “organizations” , crucial, essential, whose challenges and strategies must be revisited if we wish to avoid the worst, socially and ecologically…

So many allegations expressed in the name of the ordinary citizen, of a Country, or in connection with the globalized world.

Author's note:

We thank the reader for considering this work as an "essay", undoubtedly ambitious, because it attempts at the same time a very summary synthesis of the big problems which assail us and dares to present some new tracks to face it, hesitating not, if the justification of the proposition goes through a mathematical treatment, to submit it succinctly.

We also had the audacity to propose the neologism "geocology" to mean "global" ecology in its planetary dimension, hoping that the reader will be willing to accept it and we also thank him for that!

This text has no reading constraints and can be approached by any entry point… a reading that can be limited to a few of them, or even skip the mathematical passages that could be off-putting. .

Certain figures are borrowed from the popular encyclopedia "Wikipedia" which offers so many presentations easily accessible and assimilable by the greatest number. Thank you to her, her initiators and the team that drives it…

Thanks also to Laurent Leloup, creator of the daily CFO-news.com, today Finyear, who suggested this project and contributed to its realization…

Good reading !
