In short, it's a shame to hit bitcoins while putting on blinkers for classic finance.

Where did you see that we were blinking? Of course, I have a bank account: is that putting on blinkers? And yes, I have a car, a computer, a house ... I am therefore, on my scale, a capitalist (sitting on reality).

Simply, here it is a question of bitcoins, but I do not think that one can seriously suspect me not to be aware of the artificial nature of the stock market valuation of companies yet materially stagnant ... : Lol:

Houlà hoplà! You are not talking about finance there but about saving a father there ...

Finance is those who speculate on the price of wheat or other staple food, just to kill a few more poor people, by creating added value based solely on their personal profits ... the creation of "wealth" out of nothing?

For me it is much worse than the case of bitcoins, but hey ... I ramble I think!

Bitcoin: What Determines Its Price

Forbes May 20, 2018
.................

................
This means that Bitcoin should not be considered a commodity. Miners provide a service, transaction confirmation, on which Bitcoin users rely entirely. Without this service, Bitcoin would go out. But miners' profits depend on user transactions. If the fees go up too much, users will stop using Bitcoin to transact, and Bitcoin will go out. The perfect balance between transactions and fees is achieved when there are enough users to provide a reasonable number of transactions to be confirmed and enough minors to perform these checks.

And finally, what determines the value of Bitcoin is the willingness of people to use it to make transactions, including buying and selling Bitcoins, of course, since exchanges are transactions. But will the price of Bitcoin continue to rise enough for users to agree to pay ever higher fees? Or will we witness a debacle caused by the fall in prices as users leave the system en masse, followed by miners, if the collapse in the volume of transactions leads to the fall in fees?
