I was thinking of NON climacteric fruits which do not ripen other than on the tree and therefore cannot be marketed too much other than not far from the producer ...

So I think this has to do with the trading system ...

In all, it is a franchise network that has problems:

I read on this site that angry HUMICO BIOSMART franchisees have filed a complaint for reimbursement of their entrance fees and expenses they incurred to distribute the "SORBITE":

http://www.whistle-blower.info/

It is indicated, among other things, that the HUMICO BIOSMART Master Franchisor was ordered in February 2009 to reimburse all of the HUMICO BIOSMART franchisees.

The problem is that the HUMICO BIOSMART Master franchisor has just filed for bankruptcy on March 13, 2009:

http://www.search.asic.gov.au/cgi-bin/g ... &srchsrc=1

http://docs.google.com/fileview?id=F.34 ... 8fd593f444

So HUMICO BIOSMART organized its insolvency and the franchisees will never be reimbursed.

Uh ... I'm not a biologist but a physicist / chemist.

To keep fruits and vegetables, you need a very cold fridge : Cheesy:

This is the only way to block / slow down the biological reactions of ripening then degradation of the fruit / vegetable.

For the long term, you have to freeze them outright. But purists will point out that this is not ideal (bursting of the membranes following the expansion of water which freezes).

Now, if some people like to buy some ethylene-dissolving perlinpin powder ... why not? :D
