cloth diapers new generation éconologiques!

by Anne Sophie » 17/02/07, 22:38

Hello,

News on this forum, I introduce myself:
Anne-Sophie, mother of 3 children including twins in washable nappies.

I would like to introduce them to you.

No more swaddling clothes from our grandmothers, can packaging option, filthy hand washes, etc ...

These new layers are washable, but they are pretty, full of colors, easy to use (velcro closures or snaps).

They are economical: a batch of 30 diapers, and it's from birth to cleanliness.

Washing at 40 ° C is sufficient.
A few drops of tea tree essential oil (antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral, and anti parasite) to disinfect if necessary.

They are also very ecological: according to studies, a disposable diaper requires 2,5 times more water to manufacture than a washable one.
A child will produce, from birth to cleanliness, a ton of waste.
no chemicals.
some are even made from organic materials.
One of the most absorbent materials is bamboo: a plant that grows very quickly, without fertilizer, insecticide, anitfungal, antibacterial.

Here's a little summary.

I am part of an association which aims to let mothers know that they now have this alternative to disposables.

I speak about it here, because I do not see the subject yet addressed.

I dare not put you a link. : Oops:
I think you have a more appropriate section.
however, a simple google search will give you lots of links! : Cheesy:

I saw that you had an interesting section, where I will ask you questions about the analysis of the life cycle of a product.
We have projects on this side there. : roll:

don't hesitate to ask me questions! : Cheesy:

(I wrote a big nonsense, I allowed myself to edit!)
