Hello everyone and thank you for your answers..
So. I clean or rather empty the boiler every day but from there to sweep it, I don't even know how to do it. My ex-husband did it not too long ago, but now I'm alone, and believe me, I'm doing what I can to keep it running smoothly. So, my boiler is located in my garage which is located 15M from the house so, the piping of the boiler goes into the garden, under the lawn. To tell you if my husband isolated him well at the time, I don't know. Then my pipes arrive in the cellar and go up to the ground floor to heat the whole house. I have a surface of 120M / 2 on the ground and per floor so x3 (ground floor + 2 floors) I try not to heat the 2nd floor or very little .. This is already a very nice heat loss in the garden. So my house is an old building facing due north, I have to heat it in summer at night, that said, it's never very hot in Belgium but hey .. So does this justify my three wooden wheelbarrows a little better .
So every day, I get my wheelbarrows from the opposite side of the garden and I put them in the garage so that I don't have to walk around with wood every day. I recharge my boiler every 3 hours. Now I'm working again next week so I'm going to have to start the other boiler in order to heat a minimum during my absence. I would like to be able to find another system to consume less but I do not know how and a single woman does not know how to do all the work that she would like. PFFF ...
My garden is very small and I have no shaded area to take care of the mushrooms. LOL

Hello,
I am not a specialist in wood boilers, far from it, Did67 should go through there.
are you sure to make it work properly, to have a good performance, so recover as much energy as possible contained in the wood, combustion must be done thoroughly. It is the buffer tank which is responsible for recovering the calories in order to then distribute them more slowly at the rate of demand. And there 1000L seems a little short.
You can already check if your combustion is good. No smoke should be seen at the exit of the chimney, except at the start of the ignition for a quarter of an hour. And there should only be very fine white ashes in the ashtray. If not, you have a combustion problem.
As I said ironically if you want to decrease the amount of ash, you have to decrease the amount of wood burning. So isolate, and when I read this
is that there is a big insulation problem.
Could you tell us more about the insulation of the house?
Because there is simple and inexpensive work, within the reach of everyone, even a housewife. In particular the insulation of the roof spaces.

I'm not sure what to tell you if it is well insulated, the house !. I think my husband had done the necessary in his time. The attic for example is very well insulated, it was done 20 years ago now but it was done. Now for the rest, I don't know ! I think so but good. The boiler works well, as you mentioned above. Now, if there is any adjustment to be made, I do not know what because the notice is neither in French nor in English. My ex had imported this boiler from Czechoslovakia, less expensive, so everything is in Czech, now, since the separation, my husband does not know where the instructions are and he does not care. I thought I would save money by heating myself in the woods, but I'm wrong, huh. I would have to finish burning what I have and then switch to the oil fire !!! No?? I do have a cassette at home but I no longer operate it because my ex tells me that it is pierced because when I operate it the next day, I find much more dust than normal !!! I'm going to move and find a smaller house no! Come on, I haven't left the hostel.

hello tatchic,
- You can use your ashes to remove snow, it works better than salt and it's less harmful for ecosystems.
-If your boiler is far from your house and your pipes go outside you must have a lot of losses.
So try to insulate your pipes as much as possible.
