Idea of cyberaction following this topic: https://www.econologie.com/forums/concepts-d ... t4221.html
The idea is extremely simple:
Instead of buying lots of gifts with a negative ecological impact, pkoi do not offer at least one (see more) green plant at Christmas! If possible, of course, a perennial (which lasts several years), coming from a rather local producer and not exotic! So here are the first gifts to zero or even positive ecological impact (at least at the CO2 level) ...
To relay if you want (with a link to forums econology is better but not required).
ps: this is not a commercial message: we do not have a green plant on our shop!
reps: a second idea to reduce the ecological impact of gifts was to do an "EconoDéfi" namely: have at least 50% of her recovery or opportunity gifts!

Pass: for Christmas I offer a green plant!

To help you a little in your choice, here are some examples of decorative plants indoor very nice:
a) Ginseng (do not eat ... too fast huh!)
b) Dwarf citrus fruits: Kumquat or Orang (e) quat
c) Apartment Olivier
d) Fatty plants
e) ... to be completed ...
I will make you photos of our as soon as possible ...
Well the a) is rather exotic but it does not need any "heating" ... kumquats (and hybrids) are the hardiest of citrus fruits and resist -10 ° C ...

How could I forget it!
Offer a plant of MISCANTHUS !!
At the CO2 level: 1 ton of "wet" misanthus stores 1.8 T of CO2 if the plant is not burned and if it is burned, we estimate at 2 to 3 T of CO2 permanently stored per ha!
1 plan = about 1 L of fuel per year ...

Good idea Green gifts
I think it's a very good idea to encourage gifts of green plants.
By cons against the other post is off topic, better move it.
