To refocus on the subject:

1) to freeze, a tip: pre-freeze the well-separated fruits on a sheet, then once frozen, put them in plastic bags. As you can take just what you need, without difficulty (no solidification).

2) surprise: I am studying the replacement of the freezer "which is almost my age but does not want to die" (the freezer! Well, me neither). And I'm surprised: consumption, for devices of the same class (eg A +) does not increase that much when the size increases ... On the one hand, it is logical, consumption is linked to surfaces, not to volume. But I didn't realize it.

In my hunt for unnecessary kWh, I planned to reduce to the strict minimum. But in fact, it's peanuts!

So for info!

Yes, you must avoid moisture sticking the fruits together. For the blueberries (which are firm and dry), I put them directly in bulk in small tup '. The main thing is that they are not overwritten. They remain separate and I can take as many as I want for a yogurt for example.

I too recently invested in a new freezer, with the "no-frost" option which I strongly recommend. As much to avoid the chores of defrosting as to limit consumption due to the accumulation of ice.

Here, that gives me the idea to make a campaign of measurement of consumption of said device ...

Hello Hasardine, it's nice to find you.

So it is confirmed, cherry ice cream is not the best way to enjoy these fruits. And your coulis, do you sterilize them?

for "fruit" yogurts I also have my little tip:

I make plain yogurts and I offer all my jam jams! all those where I did not put enough Agar-agar for them to be solid!

after all, just because it doesn't fit on bread doesn't mean it can't fit in a jar!

cheers !
