And what about "coeur de boeuf", an old variety that has been fashionable on supermarket shelves for 2-3 years but which no longer tastes good since it was cultivated by the food industry?

Hi christine
that's info, thank you!

This is proof that variety is important!

Hello,
I like the concept of nutriecology by Christian Rémésy, he does not put at the forefront concepts like organic and the fight against pesticides, but more realistic solutions by putting agriculture back at the service of healthy and sufficient food for humanity, while preserving the climate and soil fertility...

Producer…

4. You will be the guarantor of nutriecology from the fields

Agriculture must be the guarantor of biodiversity by developing organic farming and agroecology (in order to reduce the use of pesticides, nitrogen fertilizers and fossil fuels), while abandoning intensive livestock farming. It is the best way for the farmer not only to earn a living but also to find meaning in what he does. And with nutriecology, no more dreary countryside lined with fields of monocultures, without trees or groves, as far as the eye can see.
5. You must guarantee more than just the toxicological quality of your products

Agricultural production units must benefit, in addition to toxicological expertise, from ecological expertise (to assess greenhouse gas emissions, soil health, water expenditure, etc.), social expertise (to assess participation in maintaining jobs and the life of the territory), and nutritional in order to assess their rights to subsidies.

La nutrition.fr is an ideologically oriented site... Him against most specialists https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Controver ... C3%A9venir.

I preferred the promotion of his book by the author himself, at least, no ambiguity : Wink:
