Large distribution, transparency on the origin products?

by Christophe » 30/11/09, 18:49

A large known distributor has for some time been indicating the origin of some of its food products:

I like the initiative to my knowledge they are the only ones to do it but:

a) does it really influence consumer choice?

b) why is the origin of only certain products indicated? On the same page, a lot of products are "without origin" ... too distant?

ba) why is only specified the French and Belgian origin (on the example that I found)

You can have a look on the official website, the brochures are in computer version.

This large distributor starts with C and ends with oven ... : Cheesy:

Hello ,

Me for greenewashing I will put transforms in France or Belgium for everything, since it is my Belgian or French settler who will work!

Like the laundry which was greener because the package was smaller!
