Exit consumerism: tips & tricks printers

by dedeleco » 30/12/10, 22:56

Seen this subject by Obamot centered "rather on how to calculate / evaluate" how much "? https://www.econologie.com/forums/remplacer- ... 10308.html

In general ... "and avoiding considering" the question of what is not what or how in particular cases ", I think we need to complement the subject with concrete cases useful for Replace? To fix? Do it yourself?

So here I propose to provide information to Concretely Replace? To fix? Do it yourself? !! in reality !!

Often we lack information and we reinvent what others have done and therefore the information of others represents precious time saved !!!

I start with a concrete case to replace with possible savings of a factor of 30 to 100 !!
To start concretely, do it yourself, the ink I use to fill my inkjet printers !!
http://www.pharaotinte.de/
You have a liter of ink for the price of a cartridge !!!
saving by a factor of 30 to 100 !!!

http://www.pharaotinte.de/druckertintep ... /index.php
http://www.pharaotinte.de/nachfuellsets ... n650ml.php

With chip resetters on the protected cartridges !!
http://www.pharaotinte.de/chipresetter/canon/index.php
http://www.pharaotinte.de/chipresetter/ ... /index.php
and courses to inject ink !!
Raz the bowl of expensive ink printers !!!
German site easy to understand !!!

Uh you should rename the title, it looks too much like the other one, we will "get lost" ...

Suggestion: "How not to be fooled by consumerism: partial advice" or "Make" econologies ", advice and tips"

The first title must be completed, with the precision "in general"
Parts and accessories it is totally impossible to guess that this title is reserved for 'in general' and not for specific useful information in particular !!!
but the title
Replace? To fix? Do it yourself?
is fundamental, useful and is not limited to "not being fooled by consumerism: practical advice" but to Replace? To fix? Do it yourself? in practice, even not found in the trade, with real time saving by sharing experiences to save time with the experience and the time spent of some useful to others !!

Dede, in this case there would have to be 1 subject per idea or domain ... otherwise all in bulk it will not be found.

For example, the idea of this one is inkjet printers ...

And we can put them in this sub forum: https://www.econologie.com/forums/trucs-et-a ... -vf61.html

[Edit] Personal Dedelco, I don't mind.

These sons are very legitimate! It is an angry subject! : Cheesy: Severely! On the one hand we have mass consumption / distribution products where it is commercially done so that the average consumer does not take it and on the other hand we have niche markets which are often the target of the former.

A bit like in the food chain, the ever larger fish that eat the smallest with the permanent risk of being eaten by others even larger! And so on! It's a kind of permanent game of not being eaten while looking for / claiming your share of the cake. This is probably how the financial system also works, the market "regulates" itself.

In this context, what is the room for maneuver for SMEs ... those looking for alternative solutions? How are they likely to break through and make themselves known? Is the Internet the right solution since in three clicks we have the cheapest offers on the planet ... whereas those who have innovative products, to survive, cannot afford to sell them at the edge of the pack!

What is the solution for them? The PV imposed by the manufacturers? Yes when there is one !!! Therefore it falls into illegality, since free competition can no longer be done, while it is a vain endless quest and it leads to the production of less and less durable goods ... And when they offer these conditions, it's for how long ...

What means should be used to promote the "alternative circuit"? How can it develop its market share? Real classified questions: "top secret".

We are in a system full of paradoxes.

Good as dedé seemed not motivated I did it for him:

new title: Anti consumerism: savings on inkjet printer
moved to: https://www.econologie.com/forums/trucs-et-a ... -vf61.html

Other subject could start with "anti consumerism: ..."

To return to the subject:

a) reduce quality to a minimum
b) write in gray rather than black
c) I had tested a font with "holes" but it didn't give anything convincing, methods a) and b) are more efficient. Featured here: https://www.econologie.com/forums/l-impriman ... t7029.html
website: http://www.ecofont.eu/ecofont_fr.html
d) obviously only print when necessary (we print almost nothing outside of the "job")

Otherwise you should know that an ink jet eats ink even if it is not used ... because this bastard does regular calibrations or sucks up some more to prevent it from drying out.

Example: our brother inkjet fax machine, which we had the nonsense to take in color, eats its 3 cartridges (separate) of color ink every year without receiving a single color fax.

Obviously I applied method a).

About laser printers:

Be careful, don't think that with a laser it's better: HP greatly overestimates its lifespan. On our HP2840 (35 kg ca starts to be pro): 6000 pages in reality for the drum against 20 in theory !!

Yes, in addition to the cartridges, on the laser you still have the drum to change (150 € / piece approximately!).

90% of what we print are invoices or administrative (therefore low filling rate), no images or photos.

I had noticed a slight gain on the colors since I forced all the printing in B&W ... before there were no color pages printed but it still blew up the color ... go figure!

I say slight gain because we have roughly doubled the life of color toners while printing still not in color ... or very rarely.

For 2000 to 3000 theoretical color pages, you have to make 20 to 30 with a few spots of color ... What do you call it? Me from the organized scam. It is as if your new car consumed 600L / 100 instead of 6L / 100 ...

In short even in laser even with the pros, it is organized theft but nobody seems to complain about it since it continues ... I do not know what the UFC and the INC do in this field ... surely the same as for the big packaging purchasing scam: nothing (they don't even deign to acknowledge receipt to our contacts) !!! https://www.econologie.com/forums/achats-en- ... t9689.html

: Evil:

Otherwise there was this too: https://www.econologie.com/forums/l-impriman ... t7029.html (Fake)

ps: finally a global subject not only on inkjet "The swindle of the manufacturers of printers" would be interesting ...

For my EPSON DX4450 printer, I bought empty cartridges on the Net (with a small rubber stopper) and a chip that automatically resets to Zero after each refill. Remember to remove and replace all cartridges when filling one. So far, after 8 refills with standard ink, it continues to work well.

Well you're lucky citro, the tests I had done there ... er 10 years it was really inconclusive (either too much ink or not enough) ... so since I gave up 'idea.

But that has surely progressed since: the proof, your experience!

Some cartridges are under pressure. Unable to recharge.
It would be nice to know the brands or models that still use this shit.

What is the brand of the system you use?
