I allow myself to attach this excellent document from the negawatt site (http://www.negawatt.org/) and very well done:
http://www.negawatt.org/telechargement/ ... 201107.pdf

(be careful it is 1.2Mo)
It details in great detail the needs that we have to reduce our consumption in the face of the challenges of the future, the possible solutions technically and financially, the schedules to be respected, etc ...

To summarize in a few lines, the solutions exist (mainly abroad but it could be adapted),
and the schedule is very tight, so it would take a big political motivation to launch the machine.

I am indeed very afraid that nothing will happen, while the profitability of the solutions proposed could be immediate as part of a massive development (loan at low interest rate, monthly payments reimbursed by the primary energy savings completed, see pdf).
In short, there is more than that, we really have to convince our politicians that IT IS NOW AND NOT TOMORROW that we must put this in place.

for the moment the building is not about to change. they are almost all bounded with their truck, excavator, cement, glue ...
You have to produce at high speed and above all anyhow.
But when they realize their human detriment. It will probably be too late

In Belgium, this is starting to become a selling point.

Hello everybody

"" "" "" "" ""
(Belga) The building sector has sounded the alarm and invites individuals to take measures to reduce CO2 emissions. Without better insulation and without renovating the old building stock, the objective of reducing CO2, decreed by the European Union, cannot be achieved by 2020, according to a study by Isoterra, a collective of construction.
"" "" "" "" "" "

It is not at all interested, that like sentences, communicated by "a collective of company of the construction". : Lol:

When they make their cement and transport thousands of tons of concrete blocks, sand, water ... with a big blow of oil, there, it is not too serious. But the particular villain must think of being ecological!

They are looking for renovation / insulation sites where the added value, ie their benefit, is better than on the "basic" construction.

Now it's (a little) ecological, although interested ... : Cheesy:
